Feeding time

To dissolve struvite stones 5-12 weeks, to prevent / reduce the formation of new struvite stones initially up to 6 months. It is recommended that you seek veterinary advice before feeding or extending the feeding period.

Contraindications

Not suitable for uroliths that are not made of struvite (e.g. oxalate stones).

Tasty chicken meat, no offal

Our wet food for reducing and dissolving struvite stones contains a high proportion of tasty chicken meat and no cheap slaughterhouse waste. It contains important animal proteins. Chicken meat is high in protein, low in fat, easy to digest and contains relatively high amounts of potassium, magnesium and zinc. Potassium has positive effects on nerves and heart muscle, magnesium supports heart and muscle functions, and zinc is good for the immune system. Chicken meat also contains vitamins from the B group, including folic acid. Vitamins of the B group support the body in particular with metabolic processes, healthy growth of the skin and fur, and blood formation.

fennel

Fennel contains essential oils, silica, mineral salts, starch, vitamins A, B and C. Fennel is traditionally used as a home remedy for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. Fennel has a digestive effect.

Quinoa

Quinoa is an excellent and very special source of protein because the small seeds contain all nine essential amino acids, which is very unusual for a plant-based food. Quinoa is also very rich in minerals and contains potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, sodium, zinc and iron. Vitamins A, E, B1, B12, folic acid, C and nicotinamide make quinoa a real power package. The seeds are also gluten-free. Gluten can cause food intolerances. Quinoa seeds have a grain-like composition. In fact, it belongs to the goosefoot genus. It is therefore also referred to as a gluten-free pseudograin.

pumpkin

Pumpkin is particularly low in calories, contains no saturated fatty acids and no cholesterol. It provides vitamin A, carotenoids such as beta-carotene, fiber (digestion), potassium, vitamin C, vitamin E (cell growth, protection and renewal, skin, fat metabolism, strengthens the immune system, catches free radicals), lutein & zeaxanthin (eyes ), niacin (skin, metabolic processes), folic acid, vitamin B6, thiamine, pantothenic acid, copper, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.
